HISTORY

Founded in 1950 by Glynn and Coral Scott, Glynn Scott Motors was first established on the corner of Baroona Rd and Nash St Rosalie, just over the hill from our present site. With a long history servicing local vehicles and motorsport nationally.

At the time, a young Wayne Park was a regular at the Scott's workshop, utilising their chassis dyno. The business was offered to Wayne, a deal was struck, and in 1986 Glynn Scott Motors changed names to Wayne Park Automotive.

Wayne Park continued operating at Rosalie, running the petrol station, servicing all makes and models of cars, whilst building and preparing a range of race cars for himself and various customers. The site was sold for redevelopment in 1994 and moved to its current address.
